Event Details

The Kansas Wetland Education Center’s Turtle Tots, a nature-based program developed for preschool age children, ages 3-5, continues March 8^th, 10:00-11:00 a.m., with the program “Plant Life Cycle”. We will start with the seed and how it is spread, then move onto what a plant needs to grow, talk about seedlings and eventually adult plants that grow seeds of their own! It will include a story and a fun plant craft.

The one-hour programs, offered at no charge, introduce young children to the natural world around them with sensory experiences, while reinforcing colors, shapes, math and fine motor skills.
