Education

For your unique nature experience, plan now to visit the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, which overlooks the largest inland marsh in the United States.  Wetlands are some of the most unique and diverse places on earth and we are dedicated to educating the public about wetland communities, their importance, and the need for conservation and restoration.

Our knowledgeable naturalists enjoy enhancing visitor experiences through interpretive programs and tours. We offer nature-based programs to suit all ages and interests. See our calendar for a list of events.

Our educators help students discover the natural wonders of Kansas wetlands through interactive learning in the classroom or in the field. Our school programs help teachers incorporate environmental education into the classroom
