The February Turtle Tots will be held Friday February 28 with two sessions to choose from: 9:30-10:30am and 10:30-11:30am.  Turtle Tots is a program for youth ages 3-5 to attend with a caregiver. 

 

In late February through March, Sandhill Cranes can be heard flying over Cheyenne Bottoms.  Occasionally, Whooping Cranes might also be traveling with the flocks.  Come learn about the tallest and rarest bird we can encounter in North America.  Turtle Tots will learn about Whooping Crane migration, "feed" their colts (Whooping Crane chicks), play a migration game, and see how their arm span measures up to the over 7 foot wingspan of these impressive birds.
