Vultures!  Turtle Tots, a nature-based program for preschool youth ages 3-5 attending with their caregiver, will kick off this fall on Friday, September 4 from 10-11am at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Turtle Tot programs often include a story, craft, science experiment, and outdoor exploration time.

Turkey Vultures may not be the prettiest migratory birds we can see in Kansas, but they do an amazing service for humans and wildlife alike as part of nature's clean-up crew! Join us for Turtle Tots on September 4 at 10am where we'll celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day (September 5) by reading Vulture View, learn about some special vulture adaptations through activities, and make a V-for-Vulture craft to take home. 

This one-hour program is offered at no charge. Registration is required. Call 877-243-9268 by September 2 to register.
